I am really loving this collaboration between artists Ernest Zacharevic and legendary photographer Martha Cooper wherein Ernest has re-imagined a number of Cooper’s famous New York City photographs. Cooper’s photographs of children slowly led her into the world of New York City graffiti during the 1970s, leading her to publishing the famous street art book Subway Art. During a period of six weeks Zacharevic recreated a number of those original photographs with his own creative spins. The project is titled “#ReplayNYC” and will be an ongoing collaboration between the two.
The Institute for Computational Design (ICD) and the Institute of Building Structures and Structural Design (ITKE) at the University of Stuttgart have completed the ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion for 2014-2015.
